Japanese Electronics company Sony has silently add a new member to its Xperia family, the Xperia SL as successor to its much praised flagship phone Sony Xperia S.
Tagged as coming soon on the company's website, the Sony Xperia SL shows much improvements over the Xperia S. It comes with a new 1.7 GHz dual core processor and Android 4.0 ICS inside the hood. The Xperia S currently comes with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and Android 2.3Gingerbread.
Other than this the specification nearly remains unchanged. There is the same 4.3 inch screen, a 14 MP rear camera with HD 1080p video recording, a 1.3 MP camera in the front, DLNA and HDMI connectivity, 321 Gb of internal storage and is powered by a 1750mAh battery.
The phone is available in 4 different colours including Black, silver, white and pink.
The prices and other details have not yet been revealed.
