Lumia 920 launch surrounded by errors

The introduction of the Nokia Lumia 920 should have been an game turner for the Finnish firm but instead it has become black eye for the Public relations.
By the time intro of the event ended on last Wednesday, it was quite sure that Nokia and Mircrosoft has been able to rush their phone in the public eyes. Nokia has left it on the Apple's decision to launch its flagship phone. The firm want to have some imprint on the consumer mindset before Apple introduces its new iPhone next week. This more over feels like an act of desperation not like competitors who move forward with their product and face competition.
Moreover, Nokia and Microsoft have not yet disclosed the pricing and availability of the phone.

Cloudy Demo
The thing turned quite worse after the debut hit the ground. Some reports emerged that the Photos and videos of the event were not shoot by the Smartphone and Nokia has faked the whole event. Not only this but company also acknowledged that the video stabilization capabilities that it showed in its handset didn't exists but they said that it may be available while the launch of the phone.
Nokia Media Relation Editor, Heidi Lemmetyinen said that it was an effort to demonstrate the benefit of the optical image stabilization technology. He also said that the video that was produced shows what they can do with the OIS.

Missing steps
While Nokia was turning the balls on the 920's camera qualities, they should have mentioned its still photos also. People from Verge, took out 920, Pureview and several other high end handsets to take some shots of New York City Central Park and they were thrilled to see that 920 out performed them all.
Apple's has acquired its success on the tech innovation but also on its brand image. Part of it is company knows what it is doing and its hardware know what they are intended to know.
It doesn't matter how good your technology is but if you are not able to connect it with your customers then it is just another crap from your side.
