HTC has started rolling out updates for its HTC One X handsets, this will bring One X along the line of the phones that have received Android 4.04.
The HTC spokesman confirmed that the rollout will began on friday in the UK although the timing would vary from region to region.
The update will include several enhanced features like ability to map menu functions to recent app key to improvise the visual appearance of the non ICS apps like Facebook and it also includes an improved tab management key along with the browser with dedicated button for tab switching. The new update will induce and upgrade to 4.0.4 ICS version.
The other improvements include refinement of white balance and continuous auto focus mode for camera with single sign in option for Facebook and other websites.
Company also said that they had brought some improvement to the beat audio but didn't provided the tech specs about the upgrade.
Although the update is not the Jelly Bean update that users have been waiting for so long, spokesman from HTC has confirmed that the Jelly Bean 4.1 update is still in the line for the device.
HTC has told the reporters that at this point of time they have plans to upgrade HTC One XL. HTC One X and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. It had also stated that their first commitment would be to bring latest updates to the customers but at the same time will also consider the performance and usability of each phone.
