Android 4.0 ICS update rolled out for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

If you own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 then there is some good news for you. The much awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update has been released for you tab. It has been quite late, as Jelly bean is just up to the corner but at least Samsung planned to release it. 
For now you will be able to edit your frimware to install official update from Samsung. The software for now cannot be OTA. 
This update can be used by all users, so if you are currently running a custom ROM firmware on your device and want to install the update then also you will be able to do this. Further if you are updating using this official ROM you will also be able to restore the warranty and factory restrictions. Currently update is being offered to selected regions like in Austria, France, Hungry, Belgium, Spain, Italy and UK. 
Further you will be needing Samsung KIES program to install ICS update on your Samsung Tab 7.7. So, you will need a computer and you will need to install Samsung KIES on it. Then connect your tablet with the computer through KIES and check if there is any OS update available for your tablet. The new official update is coming up packed with several exciting new features.
