Apple to drop Google Maps in iOS 6

Apple is planning to drop the Google Maps from its upcoming iOS6 in verge of the its own mapping system. The application designed by the Apple is considered as similar to the Google maps in many aspects but most people believe it to be much simpler, faster and reliable.
Over the last couple of years Apple has been busy in acquiring mapping companies like PlaceBase, C3 Technologies etc, which enabled apple to develop its own database, rather than relying completely on the Google.
The most exciting part of the new app interface is the 3D mode  from the C3 technology, a Swedish company acquired by the apple last year.
Apple has been constantly putting Google away, its iPhoto app has already switched from the Google map data to the Open street map data since march. The app uses the data from the map to show the shooting locations.
Apple is organizing Worldwide meet for the developers from juse 11 to 15th, at San Francisco and most people are anticipating that the launch of its 6th generation OS could be the prime event of the meet.
